1. Service
avoidaiwriting.com provides an AI writing detection and rewriting tool available via web interface and API. The service is operated by Conor Bronsdon.
2. Payments and credits
Credits are purchased through Stripe. All sales are final. Credits do not expire but may become unusable if the service is discontinued. Token burns on Solana are irreversible by design.
Pricing may change at any time. Existing purchased credits will be honored at the rate at which they were bought.
3. API usage
API keys are issued per-email and are non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure. Revoke compromised keys immediately via the developer dashboard.
Rate limits: 60 requests per minute, 100 requests per day per key. Exceeding limits results in 429 responses, not account suspension.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell API access or credits to third parties
- Use the API as a general-purpose LLM proxy
- Submit content that violates applicable law
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or replicate the system prompt
- Circumvent rate limits or daily caps through multiple accounts
Violation may result in key revocation without refund.
5. Data handling
Text submitted for audit is sent to the Claude API (Anthropic) for processing and is not stored after the response is returned. API key hashes, credit balances, and usage counts are stored in Vercel KV. Email addresses are stored for account management only.
We do not sell or share your data. Anonymized, aggregate usage statistics (total audits, burn counts) may be displayed publicly.
6. Availability
The service is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. The service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time. If the service is discontinued, unused credit balances will not be refunded.
7. Token disclaimer
$avoid is a community-created token on Solana. It is not a security, investment contract, or financial instrument. Token burns are a product mechanic, not a guarantee of value appreciation. Do your own research. Not financial advice.
8. Liability
The service is provided without warranty of any kind. Maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid for credits in the 30 days preceding a claim. The operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page.
